   About FFPC

The Coalition was originally founded under the name Florida Flu Fighters, in 1995. The group expanded its mission in 2000 to include pneumococcal immunization with a continued focus on influenza. This is accomplished through education for beneficiaries and providers, facilitation of group purchase of vaccine, sharing information, coordinating activities, and collaborating on immunization projects.

The FFPC meets monthly, via teleconference, to increase awareness and develop and promote strategies to improve influenza and pneumococcal immunization.
